Where the vineyard is find the house
Quinta Picouto de Cima is situated in the parish of Gominhães, in Guimarães. It was purchased in 1997 by Albertino Rodrigues Ferreira, and has since been run by the same family with the same aim: to produce Vinho Verde of the highest quality.
The property comprises the vineyard, the winery, the main house and a rural guesthouse, forming a complex that respects traditional Minho architecture and the terraced landscape.
The Minho region is the only place in the world where Vinho Verde is produced — a fresh, light wine with lively acidity, which reflects the Atlantic climate and the granitic soils.
