Where the vineyard is find the house
Quinta Picouto de Cima is situated in the parish of Gominhães, in Guimarães. It was purchased in 1997 by Albertino Rodrigues Ferreira, and has since been looked after by the same family with a single aim: to produce Vinho Verde of the highest quality.
The property comprises the vineyard, the winery and accommodation comprising various units: a four-bedroom house and a one-bedroom flat. Guests staying in both units have access to the swimming pool and barbecue area.
The Minho region is the only place in the world where Vinho Verde is produced — a fresh, light wine with lively acidity, which reflects the Atlantic climate and the granitic soils.
