A family, Three generations of Vinho Verde
Quinta Picouto de Cima was purchased in 1997 by Albertino Rodrigues Ferreira, in the parish of Gominhães, Guimarães. A region that is the birthplace of Vinho Verde — unique in the world for its fresh, light and lively character.

The vineyards surround the manor house; the views of the grapes and the countryside are beautiful and breathtaking. The wine cellar is always well-stocked with excellent and captivating Vinho Verde wines, typical of the Minho region.
A rustic, very traditional spot. A lovely estate with excellent wines produced on the premises. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Guimarães.
