Terms and conditions for using the website, making bookings and shopping online.
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the website quintapicoutocima.pt, as well as accommodation bookings, tastings and experiences arranged through the website, and wine orders placed via the online shop. Use of the website implies full acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the website.

3. Use of the website
The content is provided for information and commercial purposes relating to the estate’s activities. You undertake to:
- Provide accurate information when using forms (contact, bookings, shop);
- Do not attempt to compromise the security of the website, its databases or its users;
- Do not use the website for any illegal purposes or in bad faith.
4. Bookings (accommodation, tastings, experiences)
Order
Booking requests made on the website are orders, no confirmations. We will reply within 24 hours to confirm availability, terms and payment methods.
Confirmation and payment
A booking is considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from the farm, and (in the case of accommodation) once the agreed deposit has been paid. The balance is payable on arrival or at the time of the experience, unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation
- Accommodation: Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. Between 7 and 2 days, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. Less than 48 hours in advance or in the event of a no-show, the deposit will not be refunded.
- Tests and experiments: Free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance. Less than 24 hours’ notice or a no-show: no refund.
- Unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure (documented serious illness, emergency) is assessed on a case-by-case basis in good faith.
Changes by Quinta
We reserve the right to amend or cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances (early grape harvest, adverse weather conditions, etc.), with a full refund of any amount paid or a cost-free rebooking.
5. Online wine shop
Prices
Prices are quoted in euros and include VAT at the current rate. Delivery charges are calculated based on the destination and are shown before final confirmation.
Ordering and payment
Ordering on the website is a order Subject to confirmation. Quinta will contact you by email within 24 hours to arrange payment (bank transfer or MBWAY) and dispatch. There is no direct online payment option on the website.
Delivery
Wines are dispatched once payment has been confirmed, usually within 3–5 working days in mainland Portugal, via a courier service. Other destinations are subject to prior agreement.
Minimum age
The sale and consumption of alcoholic drinks are prohibited to those under the age of 18 (Law No. 109/2015). By placing an order, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over. Delivery may be refused on arrival if the recipient fails to present proof of identity.
Right of free termination
Food products (wines) are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal once the seal or capsule has been broken (Article 17(1)(e) of Decree-Law 24/2014). We accept returns in the event of a broken bottle or a non-compliant product — please contact us by email so that we can find a solution.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, photographs, logos, videos, code) is the property of Quinta Picouto de Cima or is used under licence. It may be viewed for personal, non-commercial use, but may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
The estate endeavours to keep the information on the website up to date and accurate, but cannot guarantee that there will be no errors, omissions or service interruptions. We accept no liability for any damage resulting from the temporary unavailability of the website or from information that may have been temporarily out of date.
8. Processing of personal data
The processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. We recommend that you read this before using any form on the website.

In the event of a consumer dispute, and in accordance with Article 18 of Law 144/2015, you may refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) body:

10. Governing law
